中考網(wǎng)整理了關(guān)于2021中考英語知識點(diǎn)之表示約數(shù)的數(shù)詞用法，希望對同學(xué)們有所幫助，僅供參考。

　　表示約數(shù)

　　1. 用tens/dozens/scores/hundreds/thousands/millions of表示“幾十、幾百、上千、成千上萬”等。如：

　　The boy bought dozens of pencils.那個男孩買了幾十支鉛筆。

　　Thousands of people died in the earthquake.數(shù)以千計的人死于地震。

　　注意：

　　(A)dozen, score, hundred, thousand, million等表示確切數(shù)量時，不用復(fù)數(shù)。如five dozen of eggs五打雞蛋, three hundred people五百個人。

　　但score用法略有不同，與數(shù)詞連用時，也加of。如two scoreof eggs (40個蛋)。

　　(B)有時單數(shù)形式的dozen, score, hundred, million等前面有數(shù)詞，后面也有of，此時的of表示的是部分與整體的關(guān)系，其后一定是them, us之類的人稱代詞或者有the, these, your之類的限定詞。如I want to buythree dozen of the eggs. (我想買其中的三打蛋)

　　2. 用less than, under, below, almost, nearly, up to等來表示小于或接近某數(shù)目。如nearly two hours將近兩個小時。

　　3. 用more than, beyond, or more, over, above等來表示超過或多于某個數(shù)目。如more than 100years一百多年。

　　4. 用or, or so, about, around, some, more or less等表示在某一數(shù)目左右。如about 50 pens大約五十支鋼筆，a month or so大約一個月。

　　5. 用to, from…to…, between…and表示介于兩數(shù)詞。如：

　　His salary rose from 100 dollars a month to 120 dollars a month.他的工資從每月100美元升到了每月120美元。
